Brynda Glazier is a visual artist and writer born in James Creek, Pennsylvania. She currently lives and works in San Francisco, where she received her MFA and the Dennis Patrick Gallagher Award for Excellence in Ceramic Sculpture from SFAI in 2010. Following graduation, Glazier was invited to present her work in Cream from the Top: The Best of Bay Area’s Emerging Artists and The San Francisco Art Fair; to be a guest lecturer at Scanners, an artist-run, pop-up bookstore curated by Matt Borruso and Nick Hoff; and to speak at the Living Room Event, hosted by Margaret Tedesco, as an introduction to The Steins Collect at SFMOMA. Most recently, Glazier performed in Darrell Alvarez and Kevin Killian’s film/live performance project Visitor Owl for SFMOMA’s exhibition and performance series Stage Presence. Her artwork has been reviewed in The Examiner, San Francisco Art Beat, SF Gate, and The Stranger, and has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
