Reactions to our world are stored below the conscious level. Our subliminal impressions find ways to mediate our everyday psychologies and behaviors, but in themselves they are difficult to explain.

Artists Baker, Song, Castaneda, Pepper and Lei explore the potential drives and patterns behind the notion of ‘instinct’ and the subconscious. The group negotiates animalistic, systematic or emotional human aptitudes, as they work to reveal personal experiences that live Below the Threshold of consciousness into their visual media.
